I spoke with Leighann and she was great as always.  Turned out that my documentation had not been scanned yet and before she could find it, I found a way to get my employer send me an electronic replacement for the W-2 I was missing. Nothing like waiting to the last minute, but taxes are something I do not like to do – even if I get a refund, I dislike the process and the day every year.  My problem this time was allowing some of the paper work to get out of place during the whole move thing.
I appreciate your help with what was a perfectly smooth and very fast close on our mortgage. We love the new house and neighborhood. The whole family is happy about it. You have a big time winner in Leighann, but I am sure you recognize that already.  Customer service in all industries seems to be at an all time low and to find people who are still committed to helping is not too common and you guys were excellent. I don’t know of anyone looking for a mortgage but I would strongly recommend you if I did.

Kathy,  I am sending this to you because I wanted to introduce Scott Fowler a mortgage broker who I recently used and was the only one who could get me a good rate in these times on a refinancing.  He took my information and when a window opened for a 5.5% - 7 year jumbo arm he called me and said we may only have 6 hours so let’s lock it in.  We did this and the next day rates went up.  He was a pleasure to work with, very professional as well as the people on his team.  When I got to the attorney’s office there were no hidden problems.  It took around 20 minutes to sign everything and the closing went off smoothly.  (I called every bank I have a connection with as well as various mortgage companies and brokers.  They said they couldn’t match the rate I got.)  If you know of anyone who is in need of a good mortgage broker I highly recommend him.  Best regards,    Barbara
